Independent Scaffold Inspections & Scaffold Safety Audits

Our Scaffold Inspectors are highly knowledgeable, experienced and qualified CISRS Advanced Scaffolders & Scaffolding Inspectors, holding various levels of membership in the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH).

Our aim is simple; To protect the Hiring Client and their Scaffold Users, and improve the general safety the Scaffolding on the Sites we are inspecting. We engage with Key Stakeholders and Site Personnel to drive improvement through a professional, considered  and pragmatic approach.

QSCL carries comprehensive insurance for the provision of these independent and impartial inspection services.

All scaffolding must be inspected to ensure it is compliant with the Work at Height Regulations & Industry Standards following;

1.) Installation and before first use.   

2.) Regular intervals not exceeding seven days.

3.) Any circumstances that arise which could potentially compromise the safety of the installation. (i.e., extreme weather conditions etc.)

These include:

  • Before Use Inspection

  • Pre - Handover Inspection

  • Design Handover Inspection, both complex and basic designs

  • Ad - Hoc Quality Monitoring Inspections

  • Seven Day Inspections (Statutory)

Scaffolding Monitoring Inspections
With over 25 years of experience in the industry, and highly qualified staff, QSCL’s Independent Scaffold Inspection Service meets the legal requirements of Regulation 12 The Work at Height Regulations 2005, and will culminate in a full written report and pictures, in accordance with Schedule 7 of the WAHR, detailing any faults identified and the recommended actions required to rectify.
