Operations Manager of a Funfair Company Jailed after death of a 3 year old:

A Funfair Company have been fined £20,000 and their Operations Manager jailed for 5 years after an accident involving an inflatable trampoline on Norfolk Beach caused the death of a 3 year old girl.


Shopping Trolley Manufacturer fined £320,000 after 2 workers fall from height:

A manufacturer of shopping trolleys have been fined £320,000 afterbreaching Regulation 4 of the Working at Height Regulations 2005. Two workers fell a height of 3m from a welding cage roof, after using a scaffold tower to access it for improvement works.


Company specialising in Heavy Lifting Operations fined after 2 workers fall from a crane:

Two employees fell from height during the assembly process, as a result of a partial collapse of a platform crane. The company have been fined £24,000 as a result of breaching the Health and Saftey at Work Act 1974.
